VIII. Walkthrough (17)

My Party's Level : Alex Lv. 38, Mia Lv. 35, Jessica Lv.35, Kyle Lv. 37.
Here, you'll notice that monsters have invade this ground! Don't worry
though as they're firendly. :) Anyway, from where you are, go all the way
east and use the door there. You'll then be on a large room with no path
at all. From here onwards, there's monsters everywhere! Because of that,
I'll split Talon Mine into two sections! ^ ^
Talon Mine #2

My Party's Level : Alex Lv. 38, Mia Lv. 35, Jessica Lv.35, Kyle Lv. 37.
Enemies : Stalker, Rock Biter, Sergeant, Mechanical Tank,
Black Lamp (Boss).
Items : Mental Drop X 5, Barrier Ring, Heal Drop X 4,
Angel Tear X 2, Wind Ring, Clear Ring, Mental Gum,
Spirit Robe, Dark Seed, Tri-Ring, Holy Wristband,
Shine Tiara.
From where you started, head north and use the entrance. I called this
Point A. Now, on the next room, go north and east and enter the entrance
there. Now, go north and open the chest for a Mental Drop. Now, go east a
bit and south and use the entrance there. From your starting point here,
try going all the way south, down the stairs and open the chest for a
Barrier Ring. Now, backtrack to the starting point and this time, head
east and enter the entrance there.
From your starting point, head all the way east and go down the stairs and
open the chest nearest to you for a Heal Drop. Now, go south a bit and all
the way west for a chest containing an Angel Tear.
From where you are, go up the stairs nearby and start heading west,
following the possible path. Now, use the stairs to go down and open the
chest for sa Mental Drop. Now, start heading east, through the narrow path
and use the entrance there. Here, go west, and open the chest for a Heal
Drop. Now, backtrack to the chest where you got a Heal Drop the second
time. Here, use the stairs to go up and now, head west all the way and use
the stairs there to go up again. Here, go west again and open the chest
for another Mental Drop. Now, head for the entrance and open the chest
inside in the next room for a Heal Drop.
Now, exit the room, and backtrack all the way to Point A and use the
eastern entrance. Now, just go all the way north until you come to a room
with monsters (the sprites). Here, open the chest for a Wind Ring! Now, go
all the way west and use the entrance there. Here, try going east, to the
entrance. You will then hear a scream! Now, backtrack all the way to the
area where you got your Wind Ring and you'll see a monster punishing
another monster. You'll then decide to help the poor guy and you will
fight a Stalker. A normal one so, I don't consider it a mid-boss battle,
sorry! Now, you'll be on the previous screen. It's just the same as before
except that there's no scream to prevent you from entering the entrance.
Now, on this screen, follow the path north and west for a chest containing
a Clear Ring. From here, go and follow the path east for another chest
containing a Mental Drop. Now, use the south entrance and you should be in
a room with a single chest at the middle of the room. Open it for a Mental
Gum. Now, head all the way back to the chest where you got the Clear Ring
and use the path directly south of it.
Upon entering the new room, the music will change. Now, follow the path
south and then east. Take the first north path you see as it leads you to
a chest. Open the chest for a Spirit Robe! Equip it on Mia right away! ^ ^
Now, from here, go east a a bit and enter the north entrance. Here, open
the chest for a Dark Seed. Now, exit this room and start heading west a
bit and south all the way and enter the entrance there. Here, follow the
path all the way and open the chest for a valuable Tri-Ring!!! Nice! Now,
backtrack all the way until you're on the screen where you got your Spirit
Robe. Here, use the eastern entrance for your next screen! ^ ^
From here, follow the path south, west and south again, ignoring the
entrance and you should see a chest. Open it for a Mental Drop. Now, go
all the way east and use the entrance there and you should be in a room
with a chest nearby. Open the chest for a Holy Wristband. Equip it on
Jessica and then exit the room. From here, go west a bit and follow the
south path all the way and enter the entrance there. Here, open the chest
for a Shine Tiara. Don't bother with this one. Now, backtrack all the way
to the entrance you ignored before and enter it.
You'll be on a screen with a bridge just north of you. Cross it and then
start heading east and open the chest for a Heal Drop. Now, go north all
the way and use the entrance there. You'll then be on the next room!
Hey, there's an Althena Statue here! Now, I'm sure your party has been
injured so heal at the statue first. Now, open the chest nearby for a
Angel Tear. Now, head north and through the entrance. Now, follow the path
all the way and you'll eventually meet a sticky situation... Hey, Jessica
and Mia are being caught! It's Xenobia! She's responsible for this! She'll
then ask you and Kyle to fight each other in order for her to release the
girls. Kyle then succesfully trick Xenobia and the girls are free back!
She'll then flee and send her minion to deal with you and guess what, it's
no mid-boss battle like last time as it's a real boss battle! ^ ^
Black Lamp
----------
HP : 4500 to 4600 HP.
EXP : 28 000 EXP.
Money : 0 Silver.
Items : Black Lamp Card.
Okay, agai and again, use Vigor + Sword Dance and Heat Up + Slash. Jessica
should attack normally when she has the opportunity to do so. and heal
when necessary. Mia should use Ice Shell on everybody first before she
starts attacking. Black Lamp can be a pain in the neck as it can spit dark
flames that damage all your party badly! Have Mist Veil ready ot
otherwise, you're toast! Anyway, this boss even has less HP than the last
one and by this point, you should be able to deal at least 600 damage per
hit from Sword Dance so, it shouldn't be a problem at all! ^ ^
Now, after you've won the battle, go back and heal at the Althena's Statue
or use the Load technique! ^ ^ Anyway, when you're done, follow the path
all the way until you're on the World Map again! ^ ^
Chapter 15 : ~ The Machine Of Chaos, The Grindery ~

Items : None.
Here, follow the path all the way and you'll see Phacia and Xenobia
arguing eventually. It turns out to be that Phacia has realized her
mistakes of going against Althena! Xenobia however, did not accept her
sister's idea and warps off somewhere again! Anyway, Phacia then gives you
the password to access the Ruid! Well, that's nice of her! :) Anyway, now,
exit to the world Map again!
